Are you ready for the next “authors with heart” spotlight and prize pack from our 2017 project! I'll be doing these posts until spring of 2018, plus catching up with a few authors from 2016. I'm still a little behind. In these features, you get to hear about a book and have a chance to win a prize! Each featured author helped with the 2017 Mother's Day thermal bags that were donated to two Washington state Fisher Houses—VA Puget Sound Healthcare System in Seattle and Madigan Army Medical Center at JBLM.

My friend and talented author Joanne Rock has a new release out called SECOND CHANCE COWBOY that's part of her Road to Romance series. Here's what one reviewer had to say about her book:

“This was a beautiful story of a second chance at love. The story unfolded in a perfect pace, nothing about it was rushed. The writing was fantastic. A story that pulls you in and you won't be able to put the book down until you are finished. That is a sign of a talented writer to keep you that engrossed in the story. I loved it!” —Goodreads reviewer

Here's the blurb for SECOND CHANCE COWBOY:(Road to Romance Book 2)

Dancer Larissa Martine is ready to start over and Las Vegas seems like the perfect city for a shiny new beginning. But first, to honor her pact with her girlfriends, she wants to make a quick stop in Cheyenne, WY to make amends with her first love, the guy she left to chase her dreams of Broadway fame. Except rancher Matt Briggs isn’t nearly as interested in her regrets as he is in keeping her in town for his sister's wedding. It’s a request she can’t deny when his family takes up the cause to make her stay for just one more week, but it’s difficult to maintain her friends-only boundaries with a man who attracts her as much as ever.

After losing his father and inheriting the family ranch in addition to the one he’d bought on his own, Matt’s life is all about obligations. But Larissa’s unexpected arrival during the wedding mayhem is a bright spot he won’t ignore, even if that means tempting her into far more than just a dance. He figures one night with her will bring them both some peace with their past, which is all she said she wanted. But one night leaves Matt wanting a whole lot more and this time, he’s willing to gamble everything to make her stay.

A dancer and a rancher—this sounds like a great story! And it's another second chance at love romance. How fun. What do you think?
