It's time for another spotlight book for the 2019 project “authors with heart” spotlight and giveaway features! In these posts, you get to hear about a book and have a chance to win a prize! Each featured author helped with the 2019 Mother's Day thermal bags that were donated to three Washington state Fisher Houses—VA Puget Sound Healthcare System in Seattle, Madigan Army Medical Center at JBLM, and VA Portland Health Care System in Vancouver.

Lara Van Hulzen‘s REMEMBER ME is this week's featured title. When I made this page, the book was only 99 cents, but be sure to check the price before buying it. This is the first book in her Men of Honor series, Here's what a reviewer had to say about Lara's book:

“From the minute I opened this book, I knew I would love it. The first sentence captured my interest and my imagination-I couldn't wait to see what was next! The characters in this book are real-they aren't perfect and flawless; just normal people navigating life-I found myself cheering them on as I read to the final page!”—Amazon Reviewer

Here's the blurb for REMEMBER ME:

Detective Ben Russo is in trouble.
He just can’t remember why.

When a car accident lands Ben in the hospital, he can’t recall anything about his life. What he does know is he’s enchanted by a tiny nurse named Tess, but can’t shake the feeling they’re both in danger.

After being left at the altar, Tess Jansenn moves to a new town and starts over. When her ex-fiancé, Ben, shows up in the ER where she works with no memory of her, she must decide – tell Ben who he is or let him remember on his own.

Can Tess forgive and forget what drove them apart, and when Ben remembers, will the consequences of his choices make it too late for love?

I want to know what Tess decides to do and why Ben left her at the altar! A good thing it's only 99 cents so I can one-click as soon as I finish this post. I'm totally intrigued by the blurb and want to know what happens. What do you think?
