Ready for another “authors with heart” spotlight and prize pack from our 2017 project? I'll be doing these posts until spring of 2018, plus catching up with a few authors from 2016. I'm still a little behind. In these features, you get to hear about a book and have a chance to win a prize! Each featured author helped with the 2017 Mother's Day thermal bags that were donated to two Washington state Fisher Houses—VA Puget Sound Healthcare System in Seattle and Madigan Army Medical Center at JBLM.

I'm so excited to tell you about Susan Mallery's new release SECRETS OF THE TULIP SISTERHOOD. There's even a Tulip Sister website so be sure to check that out by clicking here. This is what one reviewer has to say about the story:

“Be prepared to stay up late! Once you start this book you are not going to want to put it down until you finish. Susan Mallery has the ability to create fictional towns (and the people who live there) that are so real that you want to at least visit, if not move there. Tulpen Crossing, Washington, is the latest such place. Not only are the characters and family relationships well written with her signature sense of humor, but the town itself is a character trying to better itself to draw in tourists year ‘round. The estranged sisters each have their secrets that strain their budding relationship. The story keeps the reader wanting to see what happens next.” —Amazon Reviewer

Here's the blurb for SISTERS OF THE TULIP SISTERS:

A captivating new novel about the problem with secrets, the power of love, and the unbreakable bond between sisters from #1 New York Times bestselling author Susan Mallery

Kelly Murphy isn't used to chaos. Her life as a tulip farmer is routine, after all—up at dawn, off to work, lather, rinse, repeat. But everything changes one sunwashed summer with two dramatic homecomings: Griffith Burnett—Tulpen Crossing’s prodigal son who’s set his sights on Kelly, and her beautiful, wayward and, as far as Kelly is concerned, unwelcome sister. Tempted by Griffith, annoyed by Olivia, Kelly is overwhelmed by the secrets that were so easy to keep when she was alone.

But Olivia's return isn't as triumphant as she pretends. Her job has no future and, ever since her dad sent her away from the bad boy she loved, she has felt cut off from her past. She's determined to reclaim her man and her place in the family…whether her sister likes it or not. For ten years, she and Kelly have been strangers. Olivia will get by without her approval now.

While Kelly and Olivia butt heads, their secrets tumble out in a big, hot mess, revealing some truths that will change everything they thought they knew. Can they forgive each other—and themselves—and redefine what it means to be sisters?

The Tulip Sisters are in for the most colorful summer of their lives . . .
