I want to wish you a very happy Valentine's Day!
As for my Valentine's Day, I'll be watching a swim meet! Nothing like the smell of chlorine to say I love you! But seriously, I love watching my kids do anything. I can't think of a better way to spend the day except reading! And I will be taking a book with me.
I did let my crafter side come out a little last night. Here's what I made for our neighbors since I was sick at Christmastime so never managed to bake them anything.
I got the idea for Valentine S'mores from here. My youngest (age 12) helped me.
We couldn't arrange the graham crackers like the did in the picture. We used a different type of jar (Bell) and the crackers didn't fit so we just stacked them! Each jar makes four s'mores.
We also used Hershey bars not choclate hearts. I just thought this would be easier to make them with!
I found two kinds of heart marshmallows. I got the larger ones that were white and pink. They weren't the usual brand I buy, but the size worked much better. I found them at Walmart along with everything else.
I added a fabric topper that I cut in a sorta square with pinking shears, secured with a rubber band, then added raffia. I found these tags, printed them on cardstock and wrote on the back! Easy-peasy!
Do you have any big plans for today?
